We invite you to come be a vendor at the 78th Annual McDade Watermelon Festival! Below is some general information. The 78th McDade Watermelon Festival is fast approaching on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Fundraising from the event supports activities for community enrichment and local non-profit organizations.
***NEW*** Friday Night (Dance) Vendor Options
Arts & Crafts/Merchandise $100.00 for a 12’ x 12’ space.
**We will only accept the FIRST application for direct selling businesses. All hand-made items are unique, and we will try to place comparable items on different rows.
Food Concessions $150.00 for a 12’ x 12’ space.
Bastrop County Department of Health & Sanitation 515-332-7276 needs to be contacted for Health Permit #
Foods offered will not be duplicated if possible. No EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS for the sale of items will be granted. Sale of sausage wraps, hotdogs, soda, tea, lemonade, and beer is EXCLUSIVE for the McDade Watermelon Festival Association. ** Rain or Shine vendor fees are nonrefundable and considered a donation.
Saturday Vendor Options

There is NO electricity available for vendors. If you need electricity you will need to have your own power source. If your setup is larger than 12’ x 12’, you will need to purchase more than one space to accommodate your setup (No exceptions). You will need to provide your own tent or canopy, table & chairs.
Information will be posted at the Vendor Table & Set-up times will be:
Fri., July 10th 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Sat., July 11th 6:30 am – 8:00 am
The MWFA does not provide day or night security; therefore, you will be responsible for your items left unattended.
DRIVE ON: for safety reasons, no unauthorized vehicles will be allowed on the festival grounds after 8:00 am. Please be set up and ready for business by 9:00 am. If you are late, you will need to carry your things from the road. Please do not block the road.
DRIVE OFF: At 5:00 pm, you will be able to drive on the festival grounds to your booth for loading.
